BEST LOW CODE TOOLS TO START TODAY

The Low-code revolution has been underway for a few years now. As a result, companies were able to save thousands of dollars and months of time. I'll show you what helped them.

The Low-code revolution has been underway for a few years now. As a result, companies were able to save thousands of dollars and months of time. I'll show you what helped them.

The whole industry started with a simple tool named Microsoft Excel in 1985. Since then, a lot of things have changed, and we got a new low-code platform every day. The global market forecast for low-code is around 65 Billion U.S. by 2027. And it's expected to reach $187 Billion by 2030. That's a CAGR of 31.1% for 2020 - 2030.

Low-code tools are not just for small businesses and MVP development anymore. It used to be the case a long time ago. Right now, they can help anyone save money and time on development, rather than spending the whole budget on writing code. However, custom code can be added to maintain flexibility.

With any low-code platform you can:

- Manipulate features and templates with drag-and-drop functionality

- Use pre-built templates and components, such as forms, charts, and tables.

- Provide seamless integration with other tools and systems, such as databases, CRM systems, and payment processors.

- Use custom code to have more control and flexibility.

- One of the main benefits is performance optimization with caching and automatic scaling to ensure that applications perform well even under heavy load.

No-code platforms and low-code platforms are not the same. Adding custom code is the main difference between the two. Conversely, no-code platforms are focused on non-technical users who do not have any coding skills.

Low-code tools can be beneficial only if you choose the right platform. The wrong choice may cost you all your money and time.  My recommendation is to use the most popular tools, not only because they have more features and integrations, but also because they are less likely to be discontinued. This may result in you losing access and wasting all your efforts.

Some of my favorite low-code tools are:

 - Appian offers a range of tools for developing and deploying custom applications. It's a great fit for SMBs and Enterprises.

- Mendix platform is a cloud-based low-code platform that allows users to quickly create and deploy custom applications.

- OutSystems platform offers a visual development environment, pre-built components, and integration with other systems. With Outsystems we help a few large companies to optimize their business process and saved millions of dollars.

- Pega offers a low code platform that is specifically designed for building customer-centric applications.

- Salesforce Lightning is a part of the Salesforce ecosystem and offers a range of tools and features for building custom applications. This platform is a great fit for managing your sales and accounting engagements.

In terms of the best platforms for SMBs and Startups, I like to highlight these two:

- Bubble is a low code platform that allows users to create and build web applications without complex code. The platform one of the most famous tool between all low-code tools and keep growing on the daily basis. The main benefit is a huge user-generated marketplace of templates, apps, integrations which can be implemented in one click.

- Flutterflow, on the other hand, is a low code platform for building and deploying chatbots. The platform offers pre-built templates, natural language processing (NLP) capabilities, and integration with popular messaging platforms.

For me, Flutterflow is the best choice because it provides a native experience on mobile applications and allows customers to download the application's code. Therefore, you aren't totally dependent on the platform.

That was the reason we took away all the margin and decided to create a limited deal for our customers to create a Flutterflow MVP for a fixed price under $6,000. To conclude, I would say that you should try all the tools the market has to offer in order to save money and gain an edge over your competition. Low-code tool is a proven market option to save thousands on money and months of development. Using low-code tools, you can forget about cases when MVP takes more than a year.
